Step.001
Set up a Meta account and connect your headset
Download the Meta Horizon app on your phone.
Follow the instructions in the app to create a Meta account. You can use your facebook login when you are creating the account.
Connect your headset to the Meta Horizon app.

Download the GAIM app
Search for the GAIM app in your Meta Horizon app on your phone.
Download the Gaim app.
After downloading GAIM, install the app to your Meta Quest headset (also done in the Meta horizon app).
This process can also be done within the Meta Head Quest directly. Just dowload the GAIM app from the app library.

Step.003
Setup a myGAIM account
Create a myGAIM account with the same e-mail that was used for your purchase.
In myGAIM, click on "Redeem" and enter the activation code that can be found in the activation code e-mail that was sent to you after you placed your order.
To add software to an existing license, select it from the dropdown menu. Otherwise, a new license will be created.
Step.004
Enter the license key in the GAIM app
Launch the GAIM app in the headset. Enter your License Key that is found in myGAIM under the tab "Licences".
Press ”play”.

STEP.005
Trigger Bluetooth pairing in the Meta headset

1. Put the battery in the trigger unit.
2. The button will start blinking. Press the button for 3 seconds until it blinks red for 1 second followed by a yellow blinking light. This means the trigger is reset and ready to pair again.
3. Make sure that the light is still blinking when completing the next step.
4. In the headset go to Settings // Devices // Bluetooth pairing. If the GAIM Controller is visible but listed as Previously Paired, you need to forget this device. Then exit the menu and enter it again.
5. Pair with the GAIM Controller
6. When the trigger is connected it will blink green at every shot.
7. Trigger will not function in the Meta Quest menu, only in GAIM.
8. If you have additional triggers and Training Guns, repeat the process.
Experiencing problem with pairing? "Forget" the device under settings, and repeat the steps again.
